Terms of Service
These terms describe what you can expect from Finex and what we expect in return. They’re written to be readable—if something feels unclear, write us at finexfintech@gmail.com.
The agreement
By downloading Finex, creating an account, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. We may update this page from time to time; when we do, we’ll refresh the date at the bottom. Continuing to use Finex after changes means you’re okay with the updated version.
What you’re responsible for
You’re in charge of the information you add—amounts, categories, notes, photos, documents, and anything else you store in the app. That means making sure it’s accurate enough for how you use it, and that you’re allowed to have it there in the first place.
You’re also responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything that happens under your account until you let us know it’s been compromised. Finex is a tool to help you see your money more clearly; it doesn’t replace professional tax, legal, or investment advice.
How we use information (without turning it into a free-for-all)
Finex doesn’t exist to package up your personal financial story and hand it to whoever pays the most. What you share is used to make the product work: sync across devices, run features you asked for, keep accounts secure, fix problems, and understand what’s actually helping people.
Like most apps, we also rely on data—in careful, aggregated ways—to support security monitoring, product analytics, marketing measurement, and the business side of keeping Finex available (including monetization where we offer paid options or partnerships). When another company helps us host, process payments, or run part of the stack, they only get what they need under strict expectations, not a standing invitation to reuse your life for their own ads.
The fuller picture lives in our Privacy Policy; think of these Terms as the handshake and that page as the detail drawer.
Permissions and local processing
Certain features use device permissions, including notifications, contacts read access, camera, storage/document access, and SMS read access. SMS-based auto transaction suggestions are processed locally on device for logging assistance.
Finex does not process SMS content server-side for auto detection and does not store raw SMS content in backend databases for this feature. You can disable SMS-based auto logging by removing SMS permission in your device settings.
Please use Finex kindly
No illegal activity, no trying to break in, no harassing others, no malware, no scraping the service in ways that strain or abuse it. We may suspend or close access if something puts users or the product at risk.
Subscriptions and changes
Some features may be free and others may be offered as paid plans—pricing and availability can vary by region and may change. If you subscribe through an app store, their billing rules apply too. We can add, adjust, or retire features as we grow; we’ll do our best to communicate anything that materially affects you.
Disclaimers
Finex is provided as-is. We work hard to keep things reliable and accurate, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service or that every insight will be perfect. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Because relevant permission-based processing is performed locally and securely on your device, you acknowledge that you remain responsible for device security, permission controls, and account hygiene. Finex is not responsible for unusual or unauthorized activity arising from factors outside our reasonable control, including compromised devices, shared credentials, malware, social engineering, or user configuration choices.
